Gilbertson performs for “roast”

Always a welcome face at BAN's conferences, Minnesota bluebirder Steve Gilbertson performs a song he composed as his tribute to Steve Eno who was “roasted” and honored as the first inductee into the Bluebirds Across Nebraska Hall of Fame. Gilbertson rarely misses a conference and is considered a part of the BAN family. Assisting Steve G. is long- time BAN member Julie Milota whose famous smile and infectious laughter have also become a part of every BAN conference.

Eno presented with painting

As part of the presentation honoring Steve Eno, Steve & his wife, Cheryl, were surprised by the presentation of an original water color by author and nationally known wildlife artist Julie Zickefoose entitled “First Fall: Wood Duck Nestling.” Julie has been a speaker at two of BAN's past conferences and like many of BAN's out-of-state bluebirding friends, is considered one of the family.
