BAN represented at 2004 NABS convention

Bluebirds Across Nebraska was well represented at the North American Bluebird Society Annual Convention held in Ithaca, New York, July 9 - 11. BAN members attending were: (from left) Marie & Jim McLochlin; Sandy & Bill Seibert; Cheryl & Steve Eno; Marty & Floyd VanErt; Phyllis & Derry Wolford; Vi & George Titsworth; and Elva & Leland Osten. The New York State Bluebird Society hosted a wonderful conference and a good time was had by all! The speakers, facility, food & the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York were outstanding. Eight members of the BAN group opted to stay an extra day and tour the Cobleskill area where Kevin Berner had conducted his bluebird research for many years. It was a fun and educational trip highlighted by longtime NY bluebirder Ray Briggs giving a personal historical account of the area and stories of his family's survival during the revolutionary war period.
